Summer Learning Journey

Today my class and I were making art. I decided to make watermelons cause i like eating watermelons there yummy! we had to make art for the summer learning i enjoyed making watermelons i will do more next time.

Lego Fargo Zipline

 

Today i constructed my "fargo" zipline using different lego blocks to build the chair lift for my lego character Evil Villain. With the help of my Mum we suspended some string from the top of the ranch-slider door to the bottom of the bed leg.  Check out the video down below.

Cats Vs Dogs

 

Today we had to pick aside Cat or Dog i picked dog because they are cute and they protect you i didn't pick cats because i don't like their fluffy nus and their eyes look creepy and the shape of their head looks weird but the kittens are cute.

Escape room

 

Today i played kylah's escape room it was so fun. Some of the questions were hard i like how she did the animals i like the speech bubbles they were cool it was like animals were actually talking! that was the funniest escape room i have played so far good job kylah i enjoyed it.

Prototec Maths

This was a fun challenge because i had to program my brain to think the opposite from multiplication i kinda got stuck at the division but then i saw a pattern of my 5 times and 2 times and 10 times i am proud of myself that i completed it.

Kahoot Challenge

 

This challenge has been great to put into practice all the work i have been doing learning my time tables the usernames are hilarious and i have had some fun.

Multiplication table

 

Here is my multiplication table which i have been working really hard to complete. Each day i have been setting a goal to learn by quick recall i different number groups in my timetables with my parents. It has been fun learning these and seeing the patterns in the numbers. I feel proud of what i have learnt and so is my Mum and Dad.

Word Cloud Faith and Trust

 This week I was learning about how to make a word cloud using different shapes, colours, and other effects using the words faith and trust. I used the dictionary to look up the words faith and trust to find other words that meant the same.  

I found it challenging when I tried to display my word cloud and I saw that some of my words were missing. I then played around in the main menu and dragged my mouse along to make the size of my image smaller. I was proud of what I created.

My digital learning object shows all the different words describing faith and trust.

Next time i would try different shapes and backgrounds to add extra detail.

 This week i was learning about native animals.

I found it challenging to make the Kereru.

Next time i would change The face so it points straight.
